Matthew writes literary urban fantasy, and is currently working on a series called The Interval, to explore the ambiguity and disorientation of movement in spaces between.

He holds a master’s degree in creative writing, a master’s degree in educational psychology, and he is an english literature PhD dropout. He has sustained engagements with animal studies, biopolitics, and ecocriticism. Recently, he has taken interest in thought concerning aporia and liminal space.

Matthew taught writing and other courses at universities for five years, and worked in higher education administration for some time more.
